FAQ
What is your booking process?
I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. I will not hold the date for you until the deposit has been paid. Once the deposit is paid and contract is signed, the fun begins! We get to plan all the fun details and get more familiar with each other. Contact me to book!!
Where are you based and do you travel for photoshoots?
I’m based in Sauk City, WI, but I love traveling for photoshoots! Whether it’s a nearby location, a scenic spot, or somewhere meaningful to you, I’m happy to capture your session wherever it feels special. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance, so feel free to reach out with your ideas and we can make it happen!!
Are other packages available?
Absolutely! I love bringing people’s visions to life through photography. I’m always open to capturing any type of session, whether it’s family, seniors, friendships, newborns, or something completely unique to you.
Do you offer weddings? I don't see a package listed!
Yes, I do offer wedding photography! Since every wedding is unique, I like to create custom packages that fit your day and your needs rather than a one-size-fits-all option. If you’re interested, let’s chat about your vision, timeline, and what matters most to you. I’d love to create something tailored just for your day.
What is the adventure session add-on for elopements?
An Adventure Session is an add-on shoot the day before, after, or even on a different day than your elopement. You’ll have up to 2 hours at a scenic location in your wedding attire or something meaningful to you, giving you space for relaxed, fun portraits or epic shots without the rush of the big day.
How many photos will I receive from my shoot?
Quantity of photos can vary with each shoot, but roughly speaking, you can expect to get anywhere from 50-80+ edited photos from an hour long shoot with me. I always make sure you get a full gallery of beautifully edited images that tell your story from start to finish.
Can I bring props to the session?
Of course! Props can be such a fun way to personalize your session and make it feel more YOU. Whether it’s a bouquet of flowers, a blanket for a cozy vibe, champagne for celebrating, or something meaningful to your story, I’m always happy to include them. Just let me know ahead of time what you’re thinking so we can plan how to use them best!
What should I wear for my session?
The most important thing is to wear something that feels like you and makes you comfortable. Neutral or earthy tones photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your connection. Coordinating outfits always look great such as complementary colors and textures. Flowy dresses, layers, and simple accessories can add movement and variety, while avoiding neon colors or busy prints helps keep your photos timeless. I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas if you’d like extra inspiration!
Do I have to pay in full when booking a session?
Nope! I require a nonrefundable retainer to book your date, with the remaining balance being owed by the shoot date. You may pay in full when booking if you wish, but it's not required!
